Beautiful futuristic metal sculpture of what appears to be a hybrid or mixture between a spider and a beetle. The sculpture was made by a southern California architect in the 1970's.
The sculpture consist of pieces of metal welded together, the main structure appears to be re-bar. The piece is very large and surprisingly light taking into consideration that is made of solid steel.
The piece is very well made, as you can see the lines are very precised enhancing the anatomy of the sculpture quite nicely. The piece is in excellent condition with some minor rusting and losses to the metal in a couple of places.
If you are coming to our show room to see a piece, please call ahead of time because due to our large inventory, some items are available by appointment only.
